Rescue Photographer/Videographer

Paw Prints in the Sand Animal Rescue (PPITS) is searching for a dedicated rescue photographer to photograph pets to improve their chances of getting adopted as well as to assist our marketing team in documenting our various events. Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Scheduling of pet photo shoots once pets are ready to be adopted
• Taking photos and documenting rescue activities
• Taking photos and documenting of various rescue events including fundraisers and adoption events
• Work with Adoption Coordinator by providing photographs of rescue pets for their online profiles
• Work with Foster Coordinator to schedule pet photo shoots

Qualifications

• Experience in pet photography is a plus
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently, and within a team
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for differences
• Commitment to the continuous improvement of service quality and the organization’s mission

Hours
5 – 10 hours/month

Compensation
This is an unpaid internship or volunteer opportunity. Paw Prints in the Sand reimburses for rescue-related expenses and mileage according to the IRS Non-Profit Standard Mileage Rate.
